What are your opening times?

We open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday : 10.30 am - 5.30 pm

We think this allows the most flexibility for everyone to pay a visit outside of working times.

However if you can not attend during these times please reach out as we regularly accommodate individual party requests.

Occasionally we do take annual leave and this is always highlighted on our social media and Google listings in advance.


Do I need an appointment to shop in general?

No, you can simply drop by for general shopping during opening times but please do bear in mind that pre-booked appointments will take priority and every day can be a little different!

Being a destination boutique a lot of our clients travel some distance and we really don’t want anyone having a wasted journey so please reach out and we can guide you better closer to the time. Friday is always most flexible for a browse.

You do however need an appointment for bridesmaid dresses whether it be a solo or group visit and these can be booked via our website.

You can also select the ‘Styling Appointment’ option from our booking suite if you are just looking for a little bridal pamper time to get some inspiration and ideas. During this time you can expect to enjoy intimate time in store with bubbles to explore options such as veils, headwear, bridal accessories and the rest! Please don't hesitate to bring your garments along for this in store experience.

All of our appointments include Prosecco and treats along with redeemable options.


What can I expect to find in store?

Primarily we specialise in Bridesmaid dresses and are Ireland’s leading stockist of Six Stories.

Alongside this we have a beautiful intimate studio space with a very special and unique curation of unique wedding accessories.

Our offerings include veils, fedoras and headwear for both brides and guests.

We also have a stunning range of hand selected and small batch statement jewellery for those of you who love something a little more exclusive to finish your authentic look.

You can also find unique bridal footwear options as well as stylish clutch bags, wedding jackets and some little white party dresses too!

There are also lots of cute little wedding finds dotted around so if you’re a bit of a magpie then we think you might appreciate the vibe!


Do I need an appointment for Bridesmaid Dresses?

Yes, while you might like to drop by to see the range in more detail at anytime you do need a pre-booked appointment to try dresses in store.

Appointments usually last from 60 - 80 minutes in total and can be booked directly via our website where you can see our full availability.

Weekend appointments tend to fill up fast so it is advisable where possible to book well in advance.

What can I expect from my Bridesmaid appointment?

Our vibe is relaxed and friendly where we encourage everyone to feel their very best by paying close attention to the individual needs of all our special clients.

If you are considering a particular colour or a little undecided on a few we normally start there as it’s best practice for you to get an initial visual guide to begin.

This can include comparison of fabrics and colours to get that choice right for you which will also determine what styles you can then choose from.

The beauty of the range is that everyone can select from a variety of styles as they wish to mix and match which can be then ordered in colour of choice, literally Bridesmaid shopping made simple!

We aim to give a little individual attention to everyone throughout the process and we welcome any concerns or considerations you would like to share in order for us guide you to finding your best fit!

We do understand that some party members may not be able to make it, this is very common nowadays with so many people living and working abroad.

We usually find flexible ways to work around it as we guide our clients very closely in store with advice on sizing and suitability which can be considered carefully when making these selections then.

It is also possible to use photos as a guide for this but we do request that photos taken of dresses in store remain private and for personal reference only. Please do not share these on social media or chat forums. You can of course take other photos in store of a social nature and welcome to share as you wish, just remember to tag us too!

You are welcome to bring up to 5 people to your appointment including bridesmaids / guests but please do let us know in advance if you have more.

Your booking fee includes limited refreshments for your party with upgrades available by request in advance. If you would like to make it an extra special occasion get in touch to secure extra time and treats!


What Six Stories samples and sizes do you carry in store?

We are very proud to be the exclusive and only Six Stories specialists in Ireland and currently have approximately 120 Satin Samples to try in store which are spread out across the range in a variety of styles, sizes and colours.
This gives everyone the chance to see and try the preferred colour and fabric but does also mean being open minded to trying your preferred style in various colour options to find your perfect fit then.

As Six Stories are a very fast moving brand it's impossible to have all the styles, colours and sizes at any one time but we work very closely with every group as we are well equipped and informed to adjust with changing trends and availability throughout the year.

We also stock approximately 40 Crepe Samples in almond, sage, blue, and pink.
We do not stock any Chiffon samples at present.

All styles range from size 6 to 18, after which there are a limited number of styles and variations that are available up to a size 22 - 26.

It's always a good idea to familiarise yourself with the Six Stories options on their website in advance as it is possible to see all the exact options. Also feel free to reach out to us if there is a specific style, colour or size you are interested in so we can guide you more closely to getting the most out of your visit.

Please also note that as an exclusive Six Stories retailer this does not mean that we have surplus amounts of dresses available at all times. You may always be able to pick up apparel and accessories but dresses are usually always pre-order which is why we always advise advance booking.

What about new colours and launches throughout the year?

If new styles and colours are launched throughout the year it is important to know that often this can mean that we already have these styles and sizes already among our samples to try in store but just not in the newly released colour yet.

We will always have colour swatches and a handful of new samples available for you to compare shades and fabrics on hand as well as being well informed to guide you as accurately as possible.


What is the price range?

Our styles range from €175 - €195 

We are currently the only store in Ireland where you have the flexibility to try Six Stories in person taking a lot of hassle out of the guesswork!

Quality control is also core part of the service we provide and an added benefit to the process we follow for our special clients giving you peace of mind during the all important preparations.


What are the lead times? Or when should I start to shop for Bridesmaid dresses?

Lead times will vary depending on style, colour, and seasonal demand.

We can guide you more closely with this based on your personal selection but we always advise the more time the better.

This will allow greater opportunity and flexibility in order to get exactly what you want.

We recommend booking 6–12 months in advance of your wedding date.


What do I need to know about placing an order?

Many clients are eager to secure their order on the day of their appointment as its always exciting to get that important task ticked off!

With this option we include a 1-week buffer period afterwards just in case there are any details you would like to revise. During this time we can make adjustments to colour, style, or size by simply reaching out to let us know. All dress prices are the same so it doesn't make any difference how the final edit turns out!

This allows opportunity for the all important chats over lunch and in the car on the way home to evolve naturally while giving everyone peace of mind and extra flexibility!

If you are not ready to decide on the day that's no problem, you can take your time to consider options knowing we have all references made from your appointment to make the process easier when you are ready to proceed.

Once your order arrives into us it is fully checked and steamed in advance of making its way out to you. We can ship to your preferred address or to individual bridesmaids for an additional shipping charge.

We can also ship directly from Six Stories to any international address for those who are abroad.

It's important to emphasise that if anyone is in doubt with sizing to always size up as there are always options down the line with a little more but never less.

It is vital that any issues arising with your order are reported directly to us by email within 10 days of arriving as afterwards we can not accept responsibility for garments in circulation outside our control.

We can only discuss order details by email with the person who placed the original order.


Do you offer alterations in store?

We don’t offer in-house alterations as so many travel from multiple destinations so it remains difficult for clients to return then again.

We can however offer our expert advice based on your selections while in store and will be glad to go through options with you in person.

The alterations required can often be minimal so in many cases you don't need a specialist just a reputable seamstress. 

Timing for alterations in our opinion is always best 4-8 weeks before the wedding and make sure to bring along your shoes and undergarments.


What is your cancellation policy?

A 48 hour cancellation policy applies for all appointments during which you can reschedule for an alternative date and time. Requests for full cancellations made within this time will be refunded less a €5 administration fee.

We unfortunately can not accept requests to reschedule or cancel beyond this time frame as we may be unable to fulfil this slot at short notice so booking of a new appointment will be necessary.

Weekend slots can be in high demand and we like to dedicate our time and special attention equally to all our clients so for that reason ask everyone to be as punctual as possible.

Allow a little extra time for parking bearing in mind that traffic can build up either side of town at certain times. There are several car parks within minutes walking distance of the studio as well as one right next door to the rear of Shaws Department Store and Frank's Place.

We are also just 5 minutes walk from the train station and bus drop off located Redmond Square.
